Reconciliation is one of the greatest graces we can receive from God again and again. It renews our soul, totally unburdens us, freeing us from past sins. It lets us know of God’s love for us and gives us the courage and strength to carry on. God is merciful and wants nothing more than for us to accept his mercy. When you go to confession you are given a clean slate.
The Sacrament of 1st Reconciliation is done in conjunction with the Sacrament of 1st Communion. It is offered to children who are at least 7 years old or in Grade 2.
We begin with First Reconciliation classes starting in September/beginning of October. There will attend 5 in-person classes between September - December. The Sacrament will be celebrated on Saturday, December 13th, 2025.
The children with then prepare for First Holy Communion classes in January. There will be 7 in-person classes between January - April. The children will stay in the same class schedule as First Reconciliation. The Sacrament will be celebrated on April 19th and 26th 2026.
Families choose one class time for their child:
Classes are for children only and will be held upstairs in the Catholic Women's League Room (East entrance, by Parish Office).
Space is limited to 25 children per class. Cost: $40 (children receive the Go Seek Find: Discover God's Treasures kit)

What: Bring registration forms, copy of Baptism certificate (not applicable if your child was baptized at Holy Trinity) and $40 payment (to cover cost of materials).
