As the Easter season transitions toward Pentecost, Fr. Paul Moret reflects on the Church as the present reality of the Kingdom of God. Drawing from the missionary journeys of Paul and Barnabas, the homily reminds us that suffering and struggle are inevitable parts of discipleship. Yet, we are also called to celebrate the goodness of God and the joy of being part of His people. Rooted in community, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and united by Christ’s new commandment to love as He loved, we are led from the trials of this world to the eternal joy of Heaven. The Church is not merely a vessel to reach Jesus—it is His living Body in the world, forming us, guiding us, and sending us forth in love.
