In this homily, we explore the powerful message from the book of Daniel about the transient nature of earthly kingdoms and the everlasting reign of God’s kingdom. The homily challenges us to reflect on our own ‘kingdoms’ and invites us to embrace the eternal kingdom of God, which stands firm amidst the rise and fall of worldly powers. Through the example of Daniel, we learn the importance of living with integrity and faithfulness, even within imperfect systems.
