In this homily, we are invited to reflect on the kingship of Christ, as exemplified by the repentant thief on the cross. Through his heroic witness, acceptance of suffering, and acknowledgment of Jesus as king, we learn how to embrace our own journey of faith. The homily encourages us to publicly witness to Christ, accept our sufferings, and recognize Jesus as our King, so that we too may one day hear the words, ‘Today you will be with me in paradise.’
