In this homily, we reflect on the Feast of the Dedication of the Lateran Basilica, a celebration of the mother of all churches in Rome. The readings remind us of the sacredness of the Church as a physical structure and as a spiritual community. We are called to be living stones, temples of the Holy Spirit, where God’s presence dwells. The homily challenges us to respect and honor our bodies and our community as holy temples, embracing our mission to spread love, mercy, and forgiveness.
