On the Solemnity of the Ascension, this homily reflects on what Christ’s return to the Father means for ordinary Christian life. Deacon Wes connects Jesus’ ascension, the promise of the Holy Spirit, and the call to witness in everyday duties at home, at work, and in service to others. Rather than seeing the feast as distant theology, the message urges believers to live the Gospel through integrity, gratitude, and love.
