On the 11th Sunday in Ordinary Time, Deacon Wes reflects on God’s habit of choosing the weak, the unlikely, and the ordinary to accomplish his saving work. Drawing from Israel’s call, Saint Paul’s conversion, and Jesus’ commissioning of the Twelve, he emphasizes that God’s power is revealed most clearly when people allow themselves to be led. The central challenge is not to remain spiritually stuck, but to step forward in faith so the Lord can guide and use us for the sake of the world. It is a practical and memorable call to mission, trust, and action.
